| "Our
mission is to bring joy to the children undergoing cancer treatment
and other serious illnesses through fulfilling immediate needs and
providing opportunities that enrich the childhood experience through
simple pleasures."
Hunter was
born September 2, 1998. He was a happy, healthy, and loving boy.
He loved his family, friends, but most of all, loved the outdoors.
December of 2003, he was diagnosed with pineoblastoma. Pineoblastoma
is the most rare form of brain tumor. He underwent six weeks of
daily craniospinal radiation and started chemotherapy. The chemotherapy
could not stop the aggressive disease, and he became an angel on
August 23, 2004. He loved everyone, and in his honor we will spread
that love with other children faced with cancer and other serious
illnesses.
Our vision
is to bring joy to the children undergoing cancer treatment and
other serious illnesses. By your donations these children will have
something to smile about. Every donation will go to the children
and to the Children's Hospital. Children in treatment may get one
wish through a large foundation. This foundation is for needs that
we can all fulfill. They enter treatment for medical needs, but
their basic needs are overlooked. Anywhere from toys to the basic
necessities of life. As the foundation grows, individual children
will be able to ask for specific needs. Please know, everyone that
enters a child in treatment is forever changed, and we can all help
bring a smile to very deserving families.
If you know
of any children that are currently in treatment or have undergone
treatment, please send them to this website or contact us, so we
can try to bring a smile to their face.
